Tafhimul Quran or Tafhemul Quran is one of the best Quran Tafsir apps on the Android platform. It is a combination of orthodox and modernist interpretation and has deeply influenced modern Islamic thought. The app is a 6-volume translation and commentary of the Quran by the Pakistani Islamist ideologue and activist Syed Abul Ala Maududi.
